This piece has always reminded me of a Phoenix rising from the ashes, maybe because it was one of my first blowouts as an artist and the feedback I had from it encouraged the birth of the artist!

The stunning iridescent peacock colours flow across the canvas, the sunlight catching on the metallic shine in places. Beautiful blues and greens flow through one another in endless waves of colour.

Double trouble! A set of 2 night time pieces. The aurora borealis dancing through the night skies. I have never been fortunate enough to see this beautiful phenomenon but those that have say these pieces have captured them perfectly! I hope one day to see them myself but until then I will just keep on capturing them in my imagination! It must be such a breathtaking and awesome sight to behold!

To me the 2 pieces immediately became representative of living with fibromyalgia, the many sides to your days, one day bright and able, the next jaded and unable!
